May 8 is National Children’s Mental Health Awareness Day. Because of the traumatic experiences that brought them into foster care; separation from their homes and families; and the disruption of multiple placements; foster children tend to have more mental health problems—but many are not receiving the much needed mental health services. “On-the-Line” with CWLA’s special guests share important insights on what’s needed to adequately meet the mental health needs of children in foster care.
